Ignite is first place we want students to attend when they are checking out the Student Ministry of FBC Purvis. It meets on Wednesday Nights from 6:30 - 7:30 PM during the school year and from 6:00 - 7:00 PM in the Summer months. Ignite usually consists of a Worship Time led by our Student Praise Band and a message from God’s Word. Its purpose is to provide a welcoming environment for seeking students to hear the message of Christ and for believing students to be encouraged to grow in their walk with Christ.

Fuel is the next step in the Student Ministry of FBC Purvis. It meets on Sunday Mornings from 9:00 - 10:15 AM on Sunday Mornings during the school year and from 8:45 - 9:45 AM during the Summer Months. Fuel begins with breakfast, then students meet in age based Small Groups that are led by some incredible adult volunteers. The purpose of these life application Bible Study groups is to encourage believing students to know God’s word and apply it to their lives, and go deeper in their walk with Christ.

 

Ablaze is the part of our Student Ministry where we teach students that the ministry belongs to them. This is a very hands on time of planning and praying for the activities of our Student Ministry. During Ablaze we equip students to take what they have learned during the week through Ignite and Fuel and channel that into becoming Disciple Makers. Ablaze meets on Sunday nights during the school year at 5:00 PM. During the Summer Months Ablaze will be meeting at 7:15 PM on Wednesday Nights. During Ablaze students will meet together in their ministry teams. Students will be divided into teams based on their spiritual gifts and area in which they desire to serve. Students will be divided into the following groups: Grow - Serve - Reach - Worship - Connect
