Missions March - Bob Kendrick - Missionary to El Salvador
Sunday Night Discussion from Bro. Bob’s Message
What an incredible challenge we heard as Bro. Bob reminded us of the responsibility and privilege we have to take the Gospel to the world. Let’s keep the conversation going together.
Icebreaker:
Our church has the opportunity to impact four of the seven continents with the Gospel. If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go and what draws you to that place?
Think About This:
Bro. Bob shared that the word “go” in the Great Commission isn’t just a suggestion—it’s an imperative command given to all believers, and it’s continuous. In other words, we are called to keep going and sharing the Gospel.
A Sobering Reality:
Billions of people in the world have never heard the name of Jesus. Let that sink in for a moment. How does knowing that affect the urgency you feel to share the Gospel?
Silent Reflection:
Missionary Hudson Taylor once said:
“The Great Commission is not an option to be considered. It’s a command that must be obeyed.”
Take a moment to reflect on what that means for your life and faith.
Three Ways We Can Be Involved:
Bro. Bob reminded us that every believer can be involved in missions by:
Praying
Giving
Going
Which of these do you feel God leading you to strengthen in your life right now?
A Powerful Challenge:
“No one has the right to hear the Gospel twice while there are still people who have never heard it
once.”
As we go through this week, ask yourself:
What is one step you can take this week to make your life count for what impacts eternity?
Let’s live on mission together.
