Helping students discover who they are in
Faith. Friends. Purpose.
Growing in Faith. Building Community. Living for Christ.
At FBC Purvis, our Youth Ministry exists to help students in 7th–12th grade grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus and learn how to live out their faith every day. We believe that middle and high school are some of the most important years in shaping a young person’s walk with Christ — and we’re here to walk alongside them every step of the way.
Each week, students come together for worship, Bible study, and fun as they build lasting friendships and strengthen their faith. Whether it’s through powerful teaching, small group discussions, service projects, or just hanging out together, our goal is to create a place where students feel known, valued, and challenged to grow.

Student Ministry Weekly Schedule
Sunday Mornings: 9:15am-10:15am
Sunday Nights: 5:00pm-6:00pm
We begin as a group catching up on what is going on in our ministry and in a time of prayer. We then break out into smaller groups by grade and have in depth Bible study where people are free to ask questions and learn from one another.
This time is our small group discipleship time. We meet all together as a group and study God’s Word. We look at difficult subjects that young people go through daily and discuss how to better be like Christ through these situations. From these lessons we learn how to apply the Scriptures to our lives. .
Wednesday Nights: 6:00pm-7:15pm
This is a time of worship for your students. We start the night with a short time of welcome followed by games and prayer. After prayer we sing songs to the Lord and Study His Word. We use this time to invite friends to come see what being part of the family of God is like. We worship the Lord in song and Scripture during this hour.
